Juvenile T. gigas were transplanted from the ocean nursery last week to the raceway tanks.
Some of these specimens will become key components of our restoration activities with selected state goverments in the coming weeks.
Stay tuned for our outreach photos in partnership with state governments and elementary schools.
Note: young T. gigas are in a state of rapid growth resulting in mantles hanging over the shells as can be observed.
